Why is my eSIM showing “Activating”?
When installing a travel eSIM, the process usually takes 1 to 2 minutes in total. If it took longer than 2 minutes or if you installed the eSIM but it is showing “activating”, you may:
- Turn ON airplane mode on your device for a few seconds then turn it back OFF
- Restart your device
My eSIM QR code is not working (showing “This code is no longer valid” error)
eSIM QR codes can only work with unlocked eSIM-enabled devices. Please check the list of eSIM-enabled devices above.
If you scanned the eSIM QR code with your phone’s camera and didn’t follow the next steps, the eSIM may have been already installed on your device. Thus the QR code cannot be activated another time and you get “This code is no longer valid” error.
To confirm that your eSIM is already installed, you can check that under the device settings.
For iPhones: Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Under Cellular Plans (or SIMs), check if there is a second line added below your Primary line. Such line would be the installed travel eSIM.
